- Authenticate your account and keep it secure
- Store and sync your journal entries across your devices

Your Journal Entries Are Private
Your journal entries are personal and private. Only you can access your content. We do not read, analyze, or share your journal entries. Your thoughts remain yours alone.
Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate Logbook:
- Supabase — Handles authentication and securely hosts your data
- AWS S3 — Stores your uploaded images securely
- Apple StoreKit — Processes in-app subscriptions
These services are bound by their own privacy policies and industry-standard security practices.
Data Security
We take security seriously. Your data is protected using industry-standard encryption both in transit and at rest. Your images are stored securely in AWS S3 with access controls that ensure only you can view them through the app.
Cloud Storage & Sync
Your journal entries are stored in the cloud to enable seamless syncing across your devices. This means you can access your memories from any of your iOS devices while keeping everything backed up and secure.
Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- Access — View all your data within the app at any time
- Edit — Modify or update your entries whenever you want
- Delete — Remove individual entries or delete your entire account
- Export — Request a copy of your data
When you delete your account, all your data — including journal entries and images — is permanently removed from our systems.
Children's Privacy
Logbook is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app or via email. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
