Download Logbook from the App Store and open the app. Tap "Get Started" and sign up with your email address. You'll receive a verification link to confirm your account. Once verified, you're ready to start journaling.

Tap the "+" button at the bottom of the screen. Add a title (optional), write your thoughts, and tap Save. You can also add a mood, photos, and use our smart tagging system to make your entries richer and more searchable.

Yes! Your entries automatically sync across all your iOS devices (iPhone and iPad) when you're signed into the same account. Just make sure you have an internet connection for syncing.

Logbook automatically recognizes special prefixes as you type:

These tags are searchable and filterable, making it easy to find related entries later.

While creating or editing an entry, tap the photo icon to add images. You can select photos from your library or take a new one. Photos are securely stored and synced across your devices.

Moods let you track how you're feeling with emoji-based indicators. When creating an entry, tap the mood selector to choose an emoji that reflects your current state. Over time, you can look back and see patterns in your emotional wellbeing.

Use the search bar to find entries by keywords, or tap on any tag to see all related entries. You can filter by people (@), hashtags (#), locations (>), activities (*), and more. The calendar view also lets you browse entries by specific dates.

Yes! The calendar view lets you see which days have entries and quickly jump to any date. Tap the calendar icon to access this view, then tap any highlighted date to see entries from that day.

Free: Create up to 60 entries and access entries from the last 30 days. Great for trying out Logbook.

Premium ($4.99/month): Unlimited entries, full access to your entire history, and all features unlocked. Perfect for dedicated journalers.

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Upgrade to Premium." Follow the prompts to complete your purchase through the App Store. Your premium features will be activated immediately.

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to your iPhone's Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, find Logbook, and tap "Cancel Subscription." You'll keep premium access until the end of your current billing period.

Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase. Go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases." Your premium status should be restored automatically.

Absolutely. Your journal entries are private and only accessible to you. We don't read, analyze, or share your content. Your thoughts remain yours alone.

Your entries are stored securely in the cloud using Supabase, and your images are stored in AWS S3. Both services use industry-standard encryption to protect your data in transit and at rest.

Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data, including entries and images, from our servers. This action cannot be undone, so please export any data you want to keep first.

First, check your internet connection. Try pulling down to refresh on the main screen. If that doesn't work, try signing out and back in. If issues persist, contact us at [email protected].

Make sure you're using the correct email address. Try the "Forgot Password" option to reset your credentials. Check your spam folder for the reset email. If you still can't get in, reach out to [email protected].

Photo loading issues are usually related to connectivity. Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Try closing and reopening the app. If photos still won't load, they may still be uploading — give it a few minutes and try again.
